Reynardo is the protagonist of the action/CYOA game Stories: The Path of Destinies.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Once a proud fox corsair, it took the dying wish of his mother to make Reynardo retire from this risky career. He is forced to get back into when a raid by the raven thugs of Emperor Isengrim III leaves him as the sole survivor of his village - and owner of a mysterious book. The latter, much more than a simple evening read, is of the magical kind, and provides the fox with multiple sets of "narrative guidance" when it comes to his future actions. Things only get more complicated when he discovers that Zenobia, the feline adopted daughter of Isengrimm III and the best general of his army, still has feelings for him going back to their shared youth. Reynardo thus has to embark on a multitude of different paths; desperately hoping that at least one of them will result in a future that not guarantees his own survival, but also that of the world proper.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Reynardo fought the Tiger Twins during 8chanmania XLIX, who unfortunately bested him after he accused them of being fursuiters.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The game's narrator often fills in for his thoughts and observations.
- In his home game, the titular Storybook warps him back to a point in the past should he come across a bad end. Alas, this time the rewind gimmick can't be used for Manias.
