Rolf is a character from the Cartoon Network show Ed, Edd n Eddy.
Bio[edit | edit source]
An immigrant from an otherwise ambiguous region he solely calls "the old country", Rolf's thick accent and his strange mannerisms make him a constant source of confusion to his neighbors Ed, Edd, and Eddy. His generally friendly and cheerful demeanor hides a proverbially comical amount of physical strength that is put on display whenever Rolf feels he or his beloved culture are being slighted.
He notably leads his own Boy Scouts-style group called the Urban Rangers and otherwise spends most of his time working on the farm of his parents, who supposedly will "banish him to the cupboard" if he fails to fulfill his chores.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Rolf debuted in 8chanmania LXIX. His peculiar perception of the world left him fully immune to the charm of Sweet-P, and the ambiguously Nordic kid went on to sweep the floor with the combat-bred R-24. Zero unfortunately was one number to big for him, so he hit the emergency breaks by tapping out.
His second coming was during 8chanmania LXXXVI. Disqualifying his colleague Ed (EEnE) via ringout, Rolf went on to KO both the Elite Zealot and Ryugu Rena before doing in Frank West via pinfall and getting himself into the finals. There, the son of a shepherd wasted no time and gave Spider-Man yet another crushing KO; earning him his first belt.
The latter allowed him to enter the grand finals of 8chanmania XCIX, where Rolf met his first opponents in the form of Dunpan and his handler Gintoki Sakata. He was mightily impressed by the elephant and sought to add it to the farm of his parents, yet Dunpan would have none of it, and thus defeated Rolf in the preliminaries.
Rolf's epilogue mentions that his failure to protect the honor of his ancestors and his ancestral homelands saw him undergoing a process of lengthy, spiritual purification in a local laundromat. Then he felt better.
