Ryu Hayabusa is the protagonist of the Ninja Gaiden series.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Ryu is a scion of the Hayabusa - a secretive clan of Japanese ninjas that, so the rumors claim, has had a hand in shaping history from behind the scene since at least the Sengoku era. Heir to the legendary Joe Hayabusa, he was trained in the arts of stealth, espionage, and assassination since he could barely walk; resulting in a veritable weapon of a man.
He made ample use of these traits when a crazed descedant of the late Nostradamus threatened to gas cities all over the United State; forcing Ryu (and the player) to make it through one of the most frustratingly difficult games of its time. In the later reboot, Ryu instead has to return a magical sword of doom from the forces of darkness, but mostly gawks at the physics of various Dead or Alive girls.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Season 2[edit | edit source]
Ryu debuted in 8chanmania LX, where his stealthy ass was unceremoniously dumped by The Cheetahmen.
Season 3[edit | edit source]
The Dragon Ninja returned just in time for 8chanmania XC. There, he quite stubbornly refused to be slain by the weirdly appropriate Ninja Slayer, only to end up getting mugged by Yuki.
