Shield-chan (in-game name: Yuri/Gloria) is the female player character from Pokemon Sword/Shield.

Bio[edit | edit source]

Shield-chan is a good scottish lass. She takes good care of her wee lil' buggers, but those who don't behave get a right proper mouthful and then some. Her patience for gibbers and jabbergams is notably limited, and those who anger her are at profound risk of getting glassed with the remains of a whisky bottle.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

Season 2[edit | edit source]

Shield-chan acted as the trainer of Grookey in 8chanmania LIV. Her pokemon met a quick and untimely defeat at the hands of Rita Ciano's Honchkrow.

Season 3[edit | edit source]

She took matters into her own hands in 8chanmania LXX. This resulted in her capturing both Untitled Goose and Hawlucha (the latter of which earned her the eternal vengeance of Los Tiburon), but Shield-chan was stumped by that one glitch pokemon.

Given how absolutely busted her games turned out to be, she immediately qualified for 8chanmania LXXI. Her performance was fittingly disastrous, as she was knocked right out of the preliminaries while trying to "catch" the Big Rig.

To her immense irritation, Shield-chan was nominated for the Bad Games Mania of 8chanmania LXXII. She received a mixed blessing by immediately being thrown out by the Big Rig.

She and her new "pokemon" Serval formed a tag team for 8chanmania LXXVI, where they fought Violet and Yemmi. Being absolutelety piss-eyed as always, Shield-chan mistook Yemmi yet another pokemon, tried to catch her, and failed miserably.

Her stint in 8chanmania LXXXIII was nothing to write home about, as she immediately was kicked out by K.K. Slider.
