Sir Daniel Fortesque, better known as Sir Dan, is the Undead hero of the MediEvil series.

Bio[edit | edit source]

Heir to Lord Cedric Fortesque, history records Sir Dan as having been a great hero during his lifetime, with him supposedly being responsible for the death of the vile sorceror Zarok. What actually happened was slightly less heroic: While Sir Dan (reluctantly) joined numerous other warriors in the fight against Zarok, he was immediately killed when the very first arrow fired during the battle pierced his left eye. Ashamed by Dan's shocking incompetence, his father instructed the scribes to take certain 'artistic liberties' with the story.

A hundred years later, Zarok returned, and used a powerful spell to raise the dead all across Gallowmere - ironically including Sir Dan, who somehow maintains his free will. Thus the skeletal knight sets forth to defeat Zarok once and for all (and secure himself his long-awaited place in the Hall of Heroes).

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

Sir Dan debuted in 8chanmania VI, although no records of his battles there have survived.

During 8chanmania XXVI, he really updated the The Nameless One's journal, showed the Seraphim Armored Command Unit that strong bones beat continent-razing firepower, proved that Kid Chameleon was't too cool to be beaten (even if it was a hassle), and even set up the bomb on CATS. His finger bones already stretched out towards the belt, yet Sir Dan's aspirations were frustrated when he was sent back to the tomb by Kazuma Kiryu.

He latter turned up for the Halloween-themed 8chanmania XXXV. There, Sir Dan skeltered fellow skellyton Papyrus, but had to call it quits against the Elder Lich Ainz Ooal Gown.

Dan turned into a three-venant for 8chanmania LXXXI. Unfortunately, he promptly was disposed of by the undoer-of-ugliness, Ted.
