Snom is a Bug/Ice-type Pokémon, first debuting in Pokémon Sword/Shield.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Snom is a small, caterpillar-like Pokémon heavily adapted to colder climates. Its reputation as a voracious eater, while deserved, somewhat looses its bite when you consider the little critter exclusively feasts upon snow, and actually makes it a veritable blessing to anyone who ever had to shovel said snow out of their goddamn driveway. Rumors that Snom also eats yellow snow can neither be confirmed, nor denied.
To protect itself from predators, Snom has developed two means of protection: The first is a simply mimicry, in which Snom will anchor itself to the branch of a tree in order to disguise itself as an icicle. The second tactic relies on the frozen shell and the spikes that cover most of its body. Said spikes actually resemble the humps of a camel; in the sense that they grow large and more intimidating the more snow Snom eats.
Upon eating enough snow, Snom will eventually evolve into an icy-winged Frosmoth.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
A Snom fought in 8chanmania LXXVIII. While its diminutive appearance immediately endeared it to its opponent, Plum, Snom's poor eyesight meant it immediately mistook Plum's good-luck golf ball as a snowball - and snommed on it. This understandably left Plum upset, but did not prevent her from getting her rear kicked by the tiny critter. It then ran into Funbro, who pinned it after stalling for time.
