Squall Leonhart is the main protagonist of Final Fantasy VIII.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Following a devastating war between the two nations of Galbadia and Esthar, the world has thoroughly gone to shit. As a mysterious static blocks all attempts of long-range communication via radio, humanity has regressed into isolated city-states. It is a rather unpleasant age that produces plenty of orphans; many of which join the military academy Balamb Garden in the hopes of getting recruited by the influential mercenary group known as SeeDs.
Squall is one such orphan, and has grown to become a respected warrior-in-training (and a raging siscon). When Galbadia invades the much smaller Dukedom of Dollett, the latter puts on a contract with SeeDs. SeeDs, in turn, decides that thrusting its soon-to-be graduates into an active war zone makes for a fine final exam. Needless to say, however, the invasion of Dollett is but a prelude to a much larger conflict, and Squall has to learn how to stop being an emo.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Squall fought in the Square Enix-themed 8chanmania XCIV. Already regretting that he took the contract to win the mania by the time he made it to the ring, he defeated the supreme gentleman Godbert Manderville, but was unable to cope with the big brain moves of certified Brainloard Remeer.
