This is an article about a man named Stanley, who is the protagonist of The Stanley Parable.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Stanley is your average 9-to-5 office drone. His only job at his company sitting in front of a computer and pressing whatever, seemingly random key the screen instructs him to press. Stanley does not mind this, and would, in fact, have kept doing so until the heat death of the universe, had his computer not unexpectedly shut down one day. This never happened before, and a confused Stanley begins to wander through the seemingly abandoned halls of his office.
Stanley's only companion in the otherwise abandoned building is the voice inside his head, which we fondly call The Narrator. The Narrator is a helpful fellow, who will readily tell Stanley where he needs to go, and what he needs to do. Of course, this does hinge on Stanley actually doing what The Narrator tells him to do, and it would be very rude of Stanley to simply ignore; let alone actively work against him.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Stanley fought in 8chanmania XXXVIII. Stanley fought tooth and nail against Harry Armis, as he did not wish to have such a painfully bad actor replace his good friend, The Narrator. Having defeated this uncultured, sub-human stain of a third-grade actor, Stanley moved on to fight Serval. The match was very much "sugoi!", and while Stanley eventually did lose at the end, The Narrator took it in good humor.
