The Stunt Dummy is subjected to intense physical trauma so you don't have to.
Bio[edit | edit source]
On the first day, humanity created the automobile, and it was good. On the second day, humanity realized cars going fast came with the risk of ejecting their inhabitants and/or turning them into the human equivalent of canned meat. As this seriously impacted sales, car companies like General Motors created entire research divisions to improve driver safety, and inventions ranging from seat belts to designated crush-collapsible zones.
The Crash Test Dummy (colloquially also known as 'Stunt Dummy') is a core aspect of this research, and (largely) replaced the use of actual human cadavers when it comes to finding out how badly you can maim the human form. Unbeknownst to many, Stunt Dummies and Storefront Mannequins also are waging a secret war of supremacy beyond humanity's watch, but we're not supposed to talk about that, and please refrain from turning around right now.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
A Stunt Dummy was set to fight Roman Reigns in a pre-show match prior to 8chanmania XLIX, but the fight was aborted mid-match due to time issues.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The reddish Stunt Dummy most usually seen in popular culture is the Hybrid IIImodel originally developed by General Motors.
