Suicide is the player character from the story mode of the 2008 video game TNA Impact!.
Bio[edit | edit source]
The man that would become Suicide used to be an up-and-coming wrestler that worked his way up to the TNA World Heavy Championship title. Unfortunately, he wasn't really supposed to win said title, and his refusal to throw the corresponding match lead to him being abducted, beaten to an inch of his life, and then dumped for dead somewhere in Mexico. He miraculously survives the whole affair, but his memories do not.
Thanks to some player-assisted cosmetic surgery, TNA is blissfully oblivious that Johnny Newguy happens to be their former star and readily signs him up as 'Suicide'. Problem is, the Mexican honchos that nearly caved his skull in do remember him. And since he didn't play nice last time, they promptly kidnap his tag-team buddy to a) have him win the heavyweight title and b) drop it for some other guy. Peak wrestling ensues,
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Suicide fought in 8chanmania LXXII. His first match against Dylan mostly resulted in Suicide loudly musing whether TNA could actually produce a plot that wasn't complete bullshit for once, but all the complaining led to no good when Haze pulled a chair trick on him.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- While Suicide was originally introduced as a customizable player avatar for aforementioned video game, TNA Wrestling later put his gimmick onto various real-life wrestlers. It never really worked out, and TNA spent roughly as much time shelving him as they did trying to bring him back.
