Tommy Lee Jones is a US-American actor.
Bio[edit | edit source]
A native of the Lone Star State, Jones managed to smuggle himself into Cambridge via football scholarship, and promptly ended up becoming flatmates with a young Al Gore. His decision to major in left him with preciously few other options than to pick up acting; and after several smaller productions, Jones and his penchant for playing tough authority figures lead to his breakthrough in the 1990s.
While Jones won multiple awards for movies ranging from the biographical musical Coal Miner's Daughter to action-thrillers like The Fugitive, contemporary audiences will likely know him for his role as the hilariously dour Agent K from the Men in Black franchise. He also starred in an advertising series for a Japanese coffee brand, which is comedy gold in its own right.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Tommy Lee Jones fought in PilotMania. Though not used to playing in Westerns, he still found himself facing The Man with No Name, and got a bullet straight between the eyes after making the mistake of calling him 'Shane'.
