The AE86 (also known as Corolla Levin and Sprinter Trueno) is a vehicle manufactured marketed by Toyota from 1983 to 1987.

In Reality[edit | edit source]

Light-weighed, affordable, easy to customize, and equipped with a front-engine/rear-drive system, the AE86 quickly became dear to street racing enthusiasts, and was immortalized by being the actual main character of the manga/anime Initial D (complete with hilariously insane drifting scenes and Eurobeat until you start shitting rainbows). It also appears in various racing games, including Gran Tourismo and Forza Motorsports.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

The AE86 that appears in 8chanmania needless to say is the personal vehicle of Initial D's Takumi Fujiwara (or rather, that of Takumi's father, but the old man seemingly doesn't mind. How exactly a car manages to fight in a wrestling match is something we're still working on, but let's say the engine of the 86 has not been idling:

It first starred and made a dashing start in 8chanmania LII, where it defeated Green Ketchup, Elaine, and Felicia of Darkstalkers fame, but tapped out in a submission hold by the 8chanmania Audience Member. If you know how or why a car taps out, let us know.

It served as the manager of Takumi Fujiwara for 8chanmania LV, but would not enter the ring itself until again until 8chanmania LVIII. There, the car forced Green Gunstar into submission (and promptly befriended him afterwards), but somehow suffered a KO at the hands of Impact Brawler.

Current Passengers[edit | edit source]

  • Driver: Takumi Fujiwara (currently kidnapped and put on a long, long ride by Mr. Bones)
  • Front Passenger Seat: Green Gunstar
