Vince (whose real name is Vincent) is a character from the Art Academy series.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Vince is an elderly veteran artist that serves as the players' tutor. As such, he carefully guides them through various painting techniques; starting out with fairly easy strokes of the brush, but soon turning to more complicated maneuvers.
Originally from a relatively obscure series (which, to be fair, has nine games under the belt by now), Vince underwent a drastic surge of popularity after he appeared as an Assist statue in Super Smash Bros 4. In Super Smash Bros Ultimate, he furthermore gets his own Mii costume based on the swordfighter.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Vince appeared in 8chanmania LXXX. His first battle against Sheogorath couldn't have been more fitting - Sheogorath being the daedric god of madness and a divine source of inspiration for artists, while Vince is named after Vincent van Gogh - a fellow somewhat lacking in mental health and intact ears.
Besting the madgod, Vince denied the unwholesome eating habits of Heat, but lost his game against Evolver
