Waluigi is a recurring character from the Super Mario series, chiefly appearing in sports-related spin-off titles.
Bio[edit | edit source]
When the team behind Mario Tennis realized that Wario had no partner for doubles, they created Waluigi - a rival of Luigi much as Wario himself is that of Mario. The two have been described as anything ranging from brothers from cousins to friends in crime (we're still waiting on "gaming journalists" to exlaim the two actually are gay), but for the time being, Wario simply seems to be the only guy who can stand Waluigi's personality.
Greedy and egoistic just like his partner-in-crime, Waluigi is endlessly frustrated by the fact that good things seemingly happen to everyone but him. He is a textbook example of a joke villain - the amount of work he might put in his plans might be impressive, were it not for the fact that his arrogance and lack of common sense usually sees them backfire in one way or another. His nature as a sore loser is further exemplified by his habit of accusing anyone who wins against him of cheating (while being no stranger to this discipline himself).
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Season 1[edit | edit source]
Waluigi debuted at some point in 8chanmania:Season 1, but the precise date of his first appearance is unknown.
He notably teamed up with Wario to fight in 8chanmania XX. The cackling couple defeated Risky Boots and the Love Monster, threw a gear into the spanners of Dr Robotnik and Metal Sonic, and showcased how to be a true gangster by eliminating Masahiro Chono and Ryuji Goda. Their trickery was only tackled by Clown and Chen.
His first known solo appearance was in 8chanmania XXVI, where he knocked down Noire, and then lost against the glorified furbait Lucario.
Season 2[edit | edit source]
His first recorded appearance was in 8chanmania XXXVII. He somehow KO'd the Piranha Plant despite of its lack of a central nervous system, yet lost against Akhmet in the Best of Sixteen.
He gave it another try in 8chanmania LIII, this time teaming up with some cheating faggot from Germany. Their road to victory ended at the hands of Fujiwara no Mokou and Keine Kamishirasawa.
Season 3[edit | edit source]
The lanky trickster reappeared in 8chanmania LXX. His fight against Baba ended on a less than successful note.
Presumably blaming his failure on the fact that he usually plays as part of a team, Waluigi teamed up with Gru for 8chanmania LXXVI. Their crime spree had hardly started when they were crushed by a fairy duo in the form of Cirno and Zara.
