The Yuki-onna (lit. 'Snow Woman') is a female youkai of Japanese mythology.
Bio[edit | edit source]
As with many of the fairy tale creatures of Japanese myth, the exact nature and behavior of the Yuki-onna varies from story to story. In one version, she was a princess from the moon that got stuck on Earth after descending to it atop of a snowflake. In other versions, she is a cruel mountain demon that kills travelers that get lost during snow storms. And in yet other versions, she happily marries a human male, but disappears after he learns about her actual nature.
The only thing these stories sort-of agree on is that the Yuki-onna takes the form of a young woman with skin so white that she seemingly blends in with the surrounding snow, and can disappear in a gust of snow if she feels threatened.
Bio[edit | edit source]
A Yuki-onna fought in 8chanmania XLIII. Her attempt to freeze Brauggi didn't entirely work out, to say the least.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
