Samurai Jack is the protagonist of the eponymous Cartoon Network series.

Bio[edit | edit source]

In the days of yore, when Japanese men were still sent to their deaths as ashigaru conscripts instead of working themselves to death as salarymen, the gods Ra, Rama, and Odin gifted a unique blade to a samurai prince. Why these were three foreign gods while Japanese Shinto literally has eight million of them was weird, but entirely beside the point.

This blade (and this blade alone) could defeat and imprison the shape-shifting fiend known as Aku. Except Aku actually broke free eight years later. Before the prince had the chance to kill him off for good, Aku employed a time-travelling curse that sent him to a dystopian future, in which Akuu had already ruled over and ruined the world for centuries.

With nothing but his sword and his clothes on him, the unnamed prince took on the name of Samurai Jack gifted unto him by the few human survivors, and vowed to return to his own age to undo the things yet to come.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

Samurai Jack fought in the board war of 8chanmania LXII, where he represented /comix/. He quickly met another man of the (light)sword by the name of Kyle Katarn, but as it turned out, Nipponese steel folded over 9000 times still is cut by a khyber crystal-powered plasma blade.
