Túrin Turambar is a character and tragic (anti-)hero of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Children of Húrin.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Túrin, as the book's title might suggest, is the son of Húrin - who not only happened to the finest warrior of men from the First Age, but also withstood the hellish torture of fell Morgoth without letting him pry any secrets from his mind. Unfortunately, Morgoth happened to be a Maia (i.e. something akin to a deity), and being immensely frustrated by Húrin's lack of cooperation, he laid a curse upon his entire family line.
Enter Túrin.
Being a mere child of eight years when Morgoth's evil bullshit magic began to take its course, Túrin did not immediately understand why life had apparently decided to fuck him over six ways to Sunday, at more than 52 weeks a year. He desperately tried to remain an upstanding man, but when fate itself decides you are to be blamed for everything that could go wrong (and everything does go wrong, for some reason), even the best of intentions go straight to hell.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Túrin Turambar fought in 8chanmania XLVII, where fate once more kicked him straight in the shins and had him tap out against Wicked K.
