Divayth Fyr is a major character from The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind.

Bio[edit | edit source]

Fyr is an incredibly old and incredibly powerful Dunmer sorcerer. Nominally a member of the eccentric House Telvanni, he cares little for the machinations of his younger peers, and instead pursues hobbies such as discussing philosophy with the living god Sotha Sil, taking enjoyable strolls through the realms of Oblivion while gathering Daedric artifacts, or herding the horribly disfigured and violently insane victims of a divine disease in his basement so he can find a cure for them.

Famously aiding them in these duties are his four 'daughters'. Which actually are female clones of himself. Which Fyr may or may not see for companionship. Go ahead, tell Divayth Fyr to go fuck himself. It's not like he isn't doing it anyway.

While Fyr himself thinks the legendary Nerevarine prophecy can not be fulfilled, he humors the players' suggestion that they actually might be Nerevar reborn, and will also provide them with a "cure" for that god-damned disease. If you are nice enough to him, that is. Remember to bring a dwemer coherer.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

Divayth Fyr debuted in 8chanmania XXXVI. He paid little heed to the 'spooks' Max Stirner kept seeing everywhere, but lost his next match to a rather unintimidating Clancer.

He got a second chance in 8chanmania LX, but made the fatal mistake of telling Iji Kataiser that her genuinely could not care less about her planet potentially getting alpha-striked. Iji promptly responded by kicking him out of the preliminaries.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Fyr owns a complete a nigh-complete set of Daedric armor, only missing the helmet. Prior to the release of the Tribunal and Bloodmoon expansions, this made him the only source of Daedric pauldrons (and an unenchanted) Daedric curaiss in the game.
