Master D is the man behind the curtains of the Badds in the 1988 platformer Bionic Commando.

Bio[edit | edit source]

Once the leader of the notorious "Empire", Master D eventually was killed and, in doing so, not only ended the Empire's dreams of taking over the world, but also took the plans for the advanced Albatross airship to his grave. As the latter was quite important for the former, the Empire (and more specifically its leader, Generalissimo Killt, sough to revive Master D by means of a highly-sophisticated machine. The plan worked in as much as that the Master really came back to live, and failed in as much as that he promptly killed Killt and took the Albatross for himself in an attempt to destroy the eponymous Bionic Commanddo Radd.

The true identity of Master D is a closely guarded secret. We're not saying he's Hitler. We're not saying he's not Hitler, either. That the original Japanese title of Bionic Commando was Top Secret: Ressurection of Hitler may or may not give an idea.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

For reasons that remain as everyone's best guess, Master D debuted in the Hitler-themed 8chanmania LXXXVIII, where he promptly was undone by the fance moves of Disco Hitler.

His second stint in 8chanmania XC did not go much better - he was soundly defeated and subsequently "acquired" as a "relic of the chapter" by the tech marine Martellus.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Master D is fondly remembered for having the most graphical death animation Nintendo ever allowed on a NES game.
