Apollo Diomedes is a character from Warhammer 40.000: Dawn of War 2.
Bio[edit | edit source]
As the captain of the Blood Raven's Honor Guard, Apollo Diomedes serves as the right-hand man for Chapter Master Azariah Kyras. His seemingly unshakeable loyalty towards the latter means he will oppose the player's squad during the events of Chaos Rising, but as Kyras' grand plan is revealed by the time of Retribution, Apollo realizes the error of his ways and thus becomes the playable Force Commander hero for the Space Marine faction.
Aside from being your go-to meatshield in the campaign, Apollo is chiefly known for his incredibly hammy voice acting and having more cheese in his lines than the entire state of Switzerland could produce in 40.000 years. His hatred of Baneblades is the stuff of legends, and Diomedes will helpfully inform you whenever he is pinned somewhere.
On 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Apollo debuted in 8chanmania LV, with Indrick Boreale serving as his manager. Diomedes attempt to secure the Tonka Truck as a 'donation to the chapter' failed horrendously; to the point he never appeared in the mania again.
