The Chained Ogre is a mini-boss from Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Though there is little information about him, the Chained Ogre is a veritable giant of a man (and/or an Oni) who has been driven violently insane by an affliction only known under the moniker of Red Eyes. The rulers of Asahina castle somehow subdued him and chained him to the outskirt walls of the fortress; where it serves as a massive Fuck-Off sign to potential invaders.
The practical use of keeping a chained ogre on your doorstep becomes apparent when the titular Sekiro tries to make a move on Asahina castle. Emphasis on 'tries'. While the ogre technically is a mere mini-boss, the fact that he is the first boss-like enemy players encounter (and this being a FromSoftware title) means the ogre will usually spend a few rounds wiping the floor with said player until the latter angrily consults an online guide.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
The Chained Ogre fought in 8chanmania LVIII. His attempt to use Nero as a stress relief toy ultimately backfired, as the crippled poet forced it to tap out in a submission hold.
