The Big Rig is the player's truck (notably the vehicle, not the driver) of the infamously bad abortion of a game known as Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing.

Bio[edit | edit source]

Big Rig had a hard life. Entering existence as a badly-designed model with even worse driving physics in a game that had little to no collision detection and (at least initially) no AI to control the other vehicles the player was supposed to race against, it is no surprise to see that this semi-trailer shows signs of intense psychological trauma. Indeed, one shudders to imagine what pathologically insane kind of spirit must animate this machine.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

Debut[edit | edit source]

Big Rig first starred in 8chanmania XXXVIII and made a good start - first dismantling fellow heavy-weight vehicle Crazy Bus, then giving detective Dan Lazarski a case even he couldn't solve, and finally trashing the generic VN protagonist Yuuji Kazumi. It ran out of luck when fighting a severely pissed-off Teagan Almace, however, and was defeated via pinfall.

Return and Alliance with Sabin[edit | edit source]

His appearance in 8chanmania XLII was a bit of a mixed bag. It had the catastrophically bad luck of facing Sabin Figaro - a man (in)famous for his love of wrestling opponents several times larger and heavier than him. Several suplexes and plenty of dents in Big Rig's chassis later, the truck was felled in a pinfall, but Sabin - being a good-natured fellow somewhere underneath all that muscle - promptly decided to befriend the vanquished vehicle.

Season 3[edit | edit source]

Big Rig went over and under the road again in 8chanmania LXXII. He resisted Shield-chan's attempts to catch him (presumably by not being a fucking Pokemon), only to lose against The Cheetahmen one round later.

For 8chanmania LXXVI, the truck teamed up with the Crazy Bus. The two roadster defeated the Zoom Gas Duo and the Party Baby, but had to learn that miles per hour do not beat genocidal intent when they lost against Luca Blight and Ugandan Knuckles one round later.

Reverseforce[edit | edit source]

Due to a developer oversight, if one does not count his entire game as a developer oversight, Big Rig has no upper speed limit while driving backwards, and accelerate up to several thousand miles per hour or more if the player keeps the respective button pushed. In 8chanmania, this serves as its favored means for gaining the upper hand in matches.
