"...AND NOW, THE CHEETAHMEN"
— Action 52, The Cheetahmen

Bio[edit | edit source]

The Cheetahmen are a trio of legendary (note: shit) karate cheetahs: Apollo, Hercules, and Aries. They are a failed expirement (yes, spelled exactly like that) from the evil Dr. Morbis. They were conditioned by, oddly enough, simply watching karate movies selected by Dr. Morbis himself; and when they learned that Dr. Morbis was the one who killed their mother, they turned on him and swore vengeance.

Their starring act was in Action 52, where they fight off bits from the other 51 shitty games for the Action Gamemaster. The Cheetahmen was also a shitty game. Their next game was Cheetahmen II, which was supposed to never see the light of day, where they have to stop the Apeman. It was also shitty.
In the comics, Apollo is a very academically smart man who studies everything under the sun, Aries is a hot-blooded ACTUAL karate cheetah, and Hercules is a powerhouse that is a total pacifist. However, in the mania, they're a cross between that and their cocky 80's-90's TV commercial selves.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

Season 1[edit | edit source]

It's possible that Aries himself debuted all the way back in 8chanmania VIII, but this is speculation.

Season 2[edit | edit source]

The Cheetahmen got their first opening act with a solo performance by Hercules in Bad Game Mania, who would lose to the belt winner Teagan Almace via pinfall. He did so bad Teagan thought he was jobbing.

Cheetahmen II starred in 8chanmania XLVI where all three got to participate, but not in the way most would think; each of them got to fight one wrestler per round. Apollo fought Puro in round 1 and won via submission, Hercules fought the Laughing Man and won via pin, and Aries finally fought Gene Yuss and won via pin.

Their final match was against Captain Falcon, and at the time Apollo seemed to have gone missing to get some concessions, thus leaving Hercules to fight him. After a match full of Powerbomb Whip II's, Captain Falcon took them all and made Hercules lose via pinfall. Apollo finally came back after that.

With the third time being the charm, they made their return in 8chanmania LI. Apollo barely managed to defeat Snorlax via pinfall but not without several injuries, so he decided to go off to the concession stands (again) for some corn dogs. Thanks to the delay, he actually managed to make it back in time to see Hercules manage to fall up the stairs and lose to Stairs-Chan via pinfall.

The Cheetahmen acted as the trainers for Liepard during 8chanmania LIV, but their Pokemon quickly lost to the Primeape of Dr. Morbis in the preliminaries.

They were back for 8chanmania LX, and did a reasonably recent job - Ryu Hayabusa fell before them, as did Goro Majima and Jimmy Hopkins. The one thing they could not defeat was the ripping and tearing of guts at the hand of Doomguy.

Season 3[edit | edit source]

The Cheetahmen fought once again in 8chanmania LXXI. They defeated Beck (of Mighty No. 9 infamy), the Big Rig and even local edgelord Haze, but then had to lose against Dr. Morbis of all the people.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The Cheetahmen were invited to a furry convention. It was later burned down by them, with no survivors.
  • The cries of "yiff, yiff!" will never leave their ears, no matter how much they try to drown it out. Despite this, they have no regrets.
