"KIRYU-CHAN~~!"
— Goro Majima

Bio[edit | edit source]

Goro Majima is one of the main characters of the Yakuza series. Aside from Kazuma Kiryu, Majima is the only other character to appear in every Yakuza game. Majima runs the Majima Family under the Tojo Clan, which would start Majima Construction later in the series. He and Kiryu are friendly rivals throughout most of the series. If Kiryu wants him to do something for him, Majima usually won't comply unless Kiryu beats him in a fight first.

In Yakuza 0, Majima was a fully playable character, and was known as "The Lord of the Night".

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

Season 1[edit | edit source]

Majima presumably debuted in 8chanmania X, where he formed a tag team with Kazuma Kiryu. The Yakuza took care of Ryo Hazuki and Delin Hong, but where the combined edge of Postal Dude and Coldsteel the Hedgehog did not suffice to cut them, the avalanche caused by Yeti Girl and Ski Free Yeti sure did.

He later fought in 8chanmania XXVII, but immediately was reduced to tears by Chop Chop Master Onion.

Season 2[edit | edit source]

The Mad Dog of Shimano would not return until 8chanmania XLVI where he fought the Sandwich Lady. Always a gentleman, Majima couldn't bring himself to fight seriously against a woman, and he wound up losing.

Goro attempted to pull another of his crazy performances in 8chanmania LX. This worked well enough against Soulja-tan, yet proved less successful against The Cheetahmen (specifically Hercules).

Season 3[edit | edit source]

The dogshit-insane Yakzua came back for 8chanmania LXXXV. Following a lengthy legal dispute with Miles Edgeworth (in which Majima tearfully admitted he had never killed anyone), he went on to beat some sense into the equally bonkers Fargus, became a fan favorite by kicking the Mount Your Friends Guy out of the ring, and then promptly lost all fan goodwill again when he did the same to Dunpan. With or without it, the Mad Dog of Shimano still had a giggle at the expense of Gundam Rose and every single stereotype about the French before kicking his heavy metal rear; thus winning himself his first belt.

Goro's entry into the grand final of 8chanmania XCIX was every last bit as crazy as he was, and Galsia was the first to feel it. One round later, however, the mad dog saw himself facing an elephant and an idiot - a battle he could not hope to win.
As saving face was vital for a Yakuza, this defeat brought great trouble to him and his family. Fortunately, Goro winning a later gang fight with nothing but a water balloon to his hands was quick to regain the lost respect for him and his fellows.

8chanmania C[edit | edit source]

During 8chanmania C, Majima once more ran into Kiryu, and tore him out of his apathy by suggesting Ouya-tan probably had a good reason for dumping him. This earned the mad dog the thorough beating he had probably hoped for, and as he lay defeated, he informed his rival the girl had been taken in by Kazuma Kuwabara - all while warning Kiryu that he still planned to drop a yacht on him.
