The Postal Dude is the protagonist of the eponymous Postal series.

Bio[edit | edit source]

Aside from his trademark sunglasses and red goatee, the Postal Dude is best known for his very name-giving tendency to 'go postal'. Why exactly he does so varies from game to game - the original Postal portrays him as a troubled man who snaps after being evicted from his home, and genuinely believes he needs to 'cleanse' the earth after all other humans had fallen victim to some sort of madness. Postal II and subsequent titles reverse this by portraying the Postal Dude as a (relatively) normal guy who only goes postal because he is forced to cope with an utterly insane world that categorically refuses to just let him run his daily errands.

Despite of all the hardships thrown at him, the Postal Dude generally has a laid-back, if slightly cynical attitude. The latter does not stop him from shooting a smug one-liner whenever he cuts off someone's head with a machete, but while he generally treats the physical health of those around him with gleeful disregard, the Postal Dude deeply cares about his pitbull terrier Champ - going as far as to follow him into recently nuked town in order to save his canine ass.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

The Postal Dude may or may not have debuted all the way back in 8chanmania III, but this is subject to speculation.

His first properly recorded appearance was in 8chanmania X, where he teamed up with Coldsteel the Hedgehog for maximum edge. While the two neatly cut Big Dick Dudley and The Sandman, the two yakuza in the form of Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima were too much for them.

He last showed up for 8chanmania XX - another tag team match, and this tame alongside Not Important. This renewed attempt at edginess was immediately cut short when Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold proved to be even more edgy than they were, and the Postal Dude unceremoniously tapped out in a submission hold of Harris.
