Marie is a recurring character from the Splatoon series.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Marie, alongside her cousin Callie, is one half of the popular idol group known as the Squid Sisters. Aside from their musical career, the two were most famously known as the twin hosts of the Inkopolis News program; supplying squid kids with all the latest updates about Splatfests and other events.
The duo would later become part of the revived New Squidbeak Splatoon and fight the opposing Octolings during the Great Turf War. Simultaneously, the situation between Marie and Callie heated up until they held a personal battle in the form of Splatoon's final Splatfest. Marie emerged as the victor, but the resulting dissonance meant the two sisters spend less and less time together until they ultimately separated.
Their open spot at Inkopolis News subsequently was taken by a new group in the form of Pearl Houzuki and Marine Ida.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Marie solely fought in 8chanmania XVI, and nothing beyond her not winning a belt there has survived.
