The Mars people are a recurring type of enemy from the Metal Slug series.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Looking like something that would have made H.G. Wells double-check the liquid level of his hipflask, the Mars people originally were quite content to stay hidden under the surface of the red planet. Unfortunately, the Mars People have a serious hate-boner for species that deplete the natural resource of their planet on an irresponsible level, and since humanity was busily doing exactly that, they decided to do a little house visit.
Since General Morden and his rebel army also wanted to take over the world, the Mars People secretly allied with him; hoping he would do most of the dirty work. This does not work out entirely as planned, but did little to stymie their plans of taking over Earth, or their habit of using Morden and his mooks as their puppet army for the same purpose. In their defense, it's not like they're the only species of evil 1950s aliens out there.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
One of the Mars people debuted in PilotMania, but its attempt to infiltrate Earth was crossed by the advanced scanners and superior combat power of Mega Man X.
Another specimen fought in 8chanmania LXXIX, only to once again fail against a mechanical foe - this time Turbozord.
The first success of the Mars people took place in 8chanmania LXXXIV, where one of their members defeated a Riotrooper. Sadly, their clever mind tricks do not work on something as blunt-minded as a Movie Goomba.
