Sabin René Figaro is a monk from Final Fantasy VI, and has appeared in one mania thus far.
In Reality[edit | edit source]
Sabin is the twin brother of the King Edgar Figaro, and has legitimate claim to the throne of castle Figaro. Sabin however chose to abdicate his position after his father's death as a show of displeasure to the state of the politics in Figaro. Sabin went on to train as a monk in the wilds before joining the Returners and suplexing a fucking train.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Sabin (likely) debuted in 8chanmania XIII, but immediately lost his first fight against the Yellow Devil. In his defense, the latter went on to win the entire tournament.
He next fought in 8chanmania XLII. He was drawn against Big Rig in the first round and claimed victory, likely thanks in large part to his prior experience with lifting and slamming large modes of transportation. Sabin would be DQ'd in the next round, with his opponent The Higher Power throwing a chair into the ring and feigning ignorance. Displeased by the dishonorable showing, Sabin left the ring in disgust, though not without some reward. Having bested Big Rig, the two had an amicable exchange following the match, and agreed to join forces. Since neither have appeared in a Mania since, it is unknown what the current status of their alliance is.
Sabin would later make an appearance in 8chanmania XC. He left a lasting impression on the wrestling legend Matt Hardy and put Haze back into his place, yet made a fatal mistake when he tried to answer the rhetorical questions of Max Payne.
