Machamp is a Fighting-style Pokemon stemming back from the 151 original critters of Pokemon Red/Blue.

In Reality[edit | edit source]

Machamp evolves from Machoke if traded and is the final evolutionary form of Machop. This pokemon is known for its almost obscene degree of physical strength - it is said to be capable of launching a thousand punches in a mere two seconds, and supposedly can lift an entire mountain with just one of its arm.

On the downside, Machamp's powerful arms are not meant for precision work, and may get tangled if it forced to perform tasks which require more dexterity than muscle.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

Machamp made his first appearance in the Pokemon-themed 8chanmania LIV, with the Boss of the Gym himself acting as its trainer. It quickly proved to be a lethal submission expert, forcing not only Charjabug, but also Primeape, Rotom-Heat, and Hitmonlee into tapping out. It's only conventional pinfall victory was right during the finals, where Machamp sent the ultra-specialized Specs Weedle out of comission and won its belt.

Despite being trained by Aniki himself, Machamp's show at the finals of 8chanmania LXVI ended up being a very short one; with it losing to Dr. Morbis right during the preliminaries.

Machamp's third time to shine was during 8chanmania LXXIX. Still guided by Aniki, it defied the prospect of being bamboozled by booty barbarian Fleece Johnson and saw itself forced to teach Ouya-tan that torn clothes and a poor attitude do not make a bancho. Unfortunately for it, Indiana Jones had copious experience with muscle-packed brutes before and thus managed to dispatch it in the quarter-finals.

His fourth and last show of power came during 8chanmania C, where he teamed up with his erstwhile trainer Aniki. Together, the two defeated Los Tiburon and his pal Hawlucha; with Machamp winning the match by pinning Tiburon.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Due to a technical slip-up, the Machamp seen during 8chanmania LIV only had two instead of the usual four arms.
