Soul Calibur? In MY Mania?[edit | edit source]

Between the Best of Sixteen and the Quarter-Finals, the events turned to Bane as he was being interrogated by CIA (having previously been captured during Christmasmania). Bane somehow opened a portal leading to the SoulCalibur universe, where he met up with Cervantes, Clancer, and Siegfried Schtauffen. The cursed knight questioned Bane's idea of justice, and the two had an impromptu Soul Calibur match which Siegfried won with a 3:2 score. But just as he was about to strike a killing blow, Bane opened up another portal and fled. Seconds later, CIA arrived in hot pursuit of them, and promptly followed Bane into the second portal.

The break between the quarter finals and the semi-finals finally saw a tag team match between Bane and Cervantes on one side, while CIA and Siegfried formed the other won. Following Bane's win, the big guy sealed Cervantes with an ofuda he acquired from "a little shrine maiden", and promptly bartered out his services to BANZAI INC.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Indiana Jones critted Francis with a freaking hammer one minute and two seconds into the match. While Francis was still laughing at him after having thrown him out of the ring. Brutal.
  • Stanry Roo took over as referee for this mania.
  • There was a major technical fuckup in the second round as the option to carry over damage from previous matches was still enabled. This became rather apparent when Zell made Armakuni tap out in three minutes flat. This came after several issues with the Violet dialogue program, an error which caused managers to enter the ring as separate fighters prior to their actual fighters, and other assorted mishaps.
