Max Payne is the titular protagonist of the Max Payne series.

Bio[edit | edit source]

The truth was a burning green crack through my brain.

The chat window hanging in the air, glimpsed out of the corner of my eye. Endless repetition of the same priority attacks to show off my CPU logic. The paranoid feel of someone controlling my every step.

I was in a wrestling game. Funny as hell, it was the most horrible thing I could think of.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

Max Payne debuted in 8chanmania XC. His bullet time-enhanced moves allowed him to draw faster than John Marston and evade the Pyro's flaming fists. They likewise served him well when he outdid the local suplex machine Sabin Figaro and hit the Giant Enemy Crab in its weak point for massive damage, but his true hour to shine only came about in the finals, where he saved everyones' collective nerves by making the obliviously obnoxious Cultist-chan shut up. That he also earned himself a belt is self-explanatory.

His victory allowed Max to expand his investigation into the grand finals of 8chanmania XCIX. More specifically, into the mysteriously obscene figure of Piro Il Grezzo. Unfortunately for him, Piro responded poorly to his interrogation, and Max was kicked out during the preliminaries. He went back to New York City, and would spend most of his time obsessing about the actual nature of the mania - until eventually coming to the bizarre conclusion that it all seemed like the poorly-written excuse plot for something like a video game.
