Dell Conagher, better known as The Engineer is one of the playable classes from Team Fortress II.

Bio[edit | edit source]

A soft-spoken 'good ol' boy' from a tiny Texas town, the Engineer sports ten years of experience as a roughneck in the west Texas oil fields alongside no less than eleven hard science PhDs. He puts both to good use on the battlefield by building and maintaining a variety of contraptions on the battlefield; the most (in)famous one being the notoriously accurate sentry gun.

He unsurprisingly is fascinated by technology of forms and ages, although some of his comments in 8chanmania suggest this is not solely motivated by professional interest but by far more basal desires.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

Season 1[edit | edit source]

A time-honored veteran, Engineer's career in 8chanmania stretches back to Season 1's 8chanmania XVII.

His role in 8chanmania XXIV was less than impressive, as the Engineer immediately got stomped by fellow mechanist Dr Robotnik.

He returned in 8chanmania XXXII, where he famously dismantled Orlok the Eternal, put a grinding halt to the less-than-consensual coitus of Rance - and showcased that all the PhDs in the world are no match against The Strongest.

Season 2[edit | edit source]

After a long break, the Engineer returned for 8chanmania LXI. He was greatly impressed (and disturbingly attracted) to the Lotus M200, but the car ran him over right in the preliminaries.

He himself did not take to the ring for 8chanmania LXV, but instead acted as the manager for J-Bomb and Tonka Truck.

Season 3[edit | edit source]

Dell's comeback for Season 3 started in 8chanmania LXIX. His feats included kicking Drozle Zabi out of his Zaku II and claiming it as his own, defeating Proto Man and repairing his faulty reactor while he was at it, and then having his Texan ass kicked by the infamous Luca Blight (who also took the Zaku II for himself).

Repairing the reploid proved beneficial, as Proto Man was willing to team up with the Engi for 8chanmania LXXVI. Together, they defeated the medic and his slime, brought an end to the villainy of Black Shadow and Paxton Fettel, and ultimately were wrecked themselves when facing Luca Blight and Ugandan Knuckles.

He set is sights on more hardware during 8chanmania LXXXII, where he confiscated the jetpack of the WWEW Soldier, shone some light onto the Shadow Warrior Lo Wang, and bamboozled the investigative capacities of Dick Gumshoe. In a moment of great irony, the mechanical mastermind was brought to fall by an oversized monkey.

By the time of 8chanmania LXXXVII, Engi had gotten his hands back on the Zaku II he once looted, and turned it into his tag-team partner. The Texan and the Zeonian won a promising first victory against Yukari Akiyama and the USS Iowa, after which Engi allowed the utterly fascinated Yukari to ride the gundam. They would further go on to earn a crushing victory against Phantom R and Hat Kid, which earned Engi his stolen wrench back, but ultimately lost to the battle-hardened Noble Six and Master Chief.
