Kei Nagase is is the name of multiple different characters from the Ace Combat series.
Bio[edit | edit source]
While their precise origins and backgrounds vary, all iterations of Kei Nagase share a striking resemblance to a certain Reiko Nagase from the Ridge Racers series. Coincidentally, both Ridge Racers and Ace Combat were developed by Namco. And while we won't say veteran developers of what now is Bandai Namco keep smuggling their racing waifu into Ace Combat games, we also don't say they won't.
In their defense, each respective iteration of Kei Nagase has her own bio - the once in AC2 canonically was Reiko Nagase's younger sister and went on to become an airline pilot, the one in AC3 worked for the transhuman terrorist organization Ouroboros, and the one in AC5 was an Ossetian trainee pilot-turned squadron leader-turned astronaut. They're like Bigs and Wedge from Final Fantasy, really.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Apparently wise in the way of words, Kei Nagase talked her 'big sis' Reiko Nagase into not only taking Akido lessons, but also into entering 8chanmania LXXVII. Reiko's first victory against Game Guy was short-lived in the sense that the latter had unwittingly goaded her into betting she would lose the match - and promptly went off with her car keys afterwards.
Kei Nagase was last seen chasing after the Match Guy, leaving Reiko utterly alone against the cinematic genius of Tommy Wiseau. Needless to say, she lost.
