The Lotus M200 was an experimental concept car by the eponymous British Lotus automotive company.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Build as a speedster version of the Lotus Elan M100, the M200 was presented at conventions like the Frankfurt Motor Show of 1991 and the Geneva Salon de l'Automobile of 1992, but never saw actual production.
Outside of driving enthusiasts, the M200 presumably is best known for being one of the three playable vehicles in the racing games Lotus III: The Ultimate Challenge.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
The M200 made a brief appearance during 8chanmania L, where it fought and lost against Todd Howard. The latter curiously claimed to have driven it during his days in the "racing club" of his high school while he was not busy being a member of the chess club, and as Todd Howard would never lie, we can only assume that he somehow got his hands on the single existing prototype of the car.
It got another chance in 8chanmania LXI and made good use of it in its initial fight against Engineer, but sadly tapped out against Specs Weedle one round later.
