Masahiro Chono is a retired American-Japanese professional wrestler.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Starting out at a New Japan Pro-Wrestling event in 1984, Masahiro Chono spent a few years touring Europe (where he also met his German wife) and the United States before returning to Grorious Nippon. It was there that he managed to turn himself into a superstar; wrestling against legends like Antonio Inoki and forming a tag team with The Great Muta himself. Further milestones of his career include his four wins of the NWA Worldwide Heavyweight Championship.
By 1994, Chono had adopted a 'Yakuza' gimmick that saw him doing virtually anything outside cutting off his pinkie. He also appears as a Yakuza leader in Yakuza Kiwami 2, where he works alongside The Great Muta to claim the Kamurocho Hills Project. He spade of bad luck later, he can be found working for Majima Construction.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Masahiro Chono debuted in 8chanmania XX, where he fitting fought alongside fellow Yakuza villain Ryuji Goda. The two Japanese gangsters made short work of their American counterparts in the form of Kurt Angle and Clownpiece. They next proceeded to bully George Constanza and Tomoko Kuroki, but by the time of the quarter-finals, Wario and Waluigi proved to be the greater career criminals.
