"Some of you are alright - don't celebrate Christmas tomorrow!"
— The Grinch

The Grinch is the protagonist of the 1954 Christmas book by American children's author Dr. Seuss.

Bio[edit | edit source]

The Grinch is a cynical, miserable creature that does not, in fact, sit in the HR department of any given office building; but rather lives on a mountain overlooking the cozy little settlement of Whoville. Since his heart is two sizes too small, the Grinch considers the annual Christmas festivities to be nothing but a noisy pain in his pear-colored rear. That he grudgingly tolerated the last 52 parties is never taken into account, and everyone is puzzled when he snaps.

Disguising himself as Santa Claus, the Grinch waited until night, and descends upon Whoville and to steal the Christmas presents, Christmas Trees, and even the food for the Christmas feasts. He was just about to dump his loot in a ravine when dawn comes, and the Grinch hears Christmas carols coming from the town. After much pondering, the Grinch decides that Christmas hyper-consumerism was alright, and returns everything he stole because he isn't a godless Commie.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

The Grinch debuted in 8chanmania IX, but lacking documentation means there's no way to know how that turned out.

His first proper appearance was during Season 2's 8chanmania XLIII. There, the Grinch once more tried to steal Christmas, but was stopped dead in his tracks by the Krampus.

His third (and probably last) chance to steal Christmas in the ring was during 8chanmania LXXIV, where he tapped out against Dingle Kringle.
