"POYO!"
— Kirby

Kirby is the protagonist of the eponymous Kirby series.

Bio[edit | edit source]

Kirby is a cheerful little critter from a place called Dream Land. The wet dream of any vore fetishist, Kirby can use his vacuum-like mouth to suck in and gain the special abilities of assorted enemies by swallowing them, or use them as projectiles by spitting them out again. Despite of his similarities to a black hole, he also appears to be fairly light-weight, and can fly by filling himself with air and using his stubby little arms as a means of propulsion.

He would spend his days doing nothing but eating and sleeping, but between King Dedede acting up again or yet another interstellar eldritch abomination revealing its ugly face, the pink blob reliably fills the role of a star-riding hero that comes to save the day. Just make sure the buffet after the big bad is defeated is large enough. Or else.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

Season 1[edit | edit source]

Kirby likely debuted in 8chanmania IV, where the little fella wrecked both Wario and Bubsy. His next match would have been against Donkey Kong, but no corresponding records survived.

He (it?) later fought and won against Bomberman during a pre-show match for 8chanmania XI.

Season 2[edit | edit source]

His first properly documentated appearance was during the 90s-themed 8chanmania LII - where he promptly lost to Ness via pinfall.

Season 3[edit | edit source]

Kirby, this time equipped with the "Suplex" copy ability, returned for 8chanmania LXXVIII. Making good use of his new skill, he landed a suplex KO on King II, but as we can't have nice things, Sans did him in one round later.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • While clearly male in the English localizations, Kirby's gender is left ambiguous in the Japanese originals - presumably owing to the fact that he happens to be a pink goddamn blob. When Kirby became one of the playable fighters in Super Smash Bros, Masahiro Sakurai once jokingly hinted he (and Pikachu) might be female like Samus.
