John-117, better known as Master Chief, is the main protagonist of the Halo series.

Bio[edit | edit source]

Kidnapped from his parents and conscripted into the Spartan-II program at the ripe age of six, John-117 managed to survive the rigorous training and dangerous physical augmentations that killed or crippled more than half of the other 124 candidates. For whatever it's worth, this crucible also provided him with vastly superhuman reflexes, nearly unbreakable bones, and the license to wear a Mjolnir Powered Assault Armor, making him and the other Spartans one of the scariest things the United Space Command can throw at its enemies.

The Master Chief can look back on a military career that spans over thirty years, which saw him as the pivotal element during events such as (to name a few) the Battle of Installation 04, The Battle For Earth, The Firing of Installation 08, and the Rescue of the UNSC Infinity from the world Requiem. The number of Covenant, Flood, and Forerunner casualties attributed to him is so staggeringly high that he can rightfully be called a one-man army, but while it cannot be denied that the Master Chief is a certified killing machine, he also is noted to be a born leader, and likewise has his assorted soft spots (especially for a certain artificial intelligence).

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

Season 1[edit | edit source]

The Master Chief first debuted at some point during the first season of 8chanmania; potentially 8chanmania VII.

His first properly recorded appearance was during 8chanmania X, where he teamed up with his AI waifu Cortana. Team Halo was promptly wiped out by Team Eye, consisting of Rimanah and Mentor.

Master Chief likewise fought in 8chanmania XXVI, where he unceremoniously tapped out against the Seraphim Armored Command Unit right in the first round.

Season 2[edit | edit source]

His second recorded appearance was in 8chanmania LVI. He did not find the mime from Space Station 13 funny in any sense of the word, but having disposed of him, Master Chief somehow got his armored rear ravaged by a psychotic office clerk.

Season 3[edit | edit source]

John-117 was given another chance in 8chanmania LXXXIII. His first match against the Vanu Infiltrator was promising, yet his second one against the Waspinator ended in a crushing KO.

Teamed up with Noble Six, Master Chief entered 8chanmania LXXXVII. The two Spartans sent Beowulf and Roland back into the history books, showed JC Denton and Brauggi that neither an enhanced vision, nor a giant's strength could stand against them, beat the rented mule of TF2 Engineer and wrecked his stolen Zaku II, and finally met their masters in 80s Noise Marine and Goff Rokka.
