Ringo Ishikawa is the titular protagonist of the open-world beat'em'up The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa.

As the leader of his schools deliquent gang, Ringo resembles the classical bancho model in as much as that he is more than a handful when it comes to a fight. At the same time, Ringo's uncertainty about what will become of him after his upcoming graduation leaves the boy in a nigh-perpetual state of brooding and melancholy that borders on the apathethic. While much fo the rest is up to the player, the game's canonical ending takes your ordinary coming-of-age story and butchers it by showcasing what happens if one fails to grow up.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Ringo debuted in 8chanmania LXVIII. His first match fittingly was against no-one other than Kunio, yet Ringo pulled through in the battle of the banchos. His fight against Niko Bellic likewise was marked by success, yet the quarter-finals and the omnicidal lunatic they held in store for Ringo were quite a bit too much for an older schoolboy.
Banchos being banchos, Ringo would later team up with Kunio for 8chanmania LXXXVI. The deliquents enjoyed a first victory against an SS13 Security Officer and Javert after the later had tried to discipline them for smoking, but punching the crap out of people becomes increasingly difficult if they are as heavily armed as Mega Man X and Zero.
In 8chanmania XCV, Ringo, a guy who suspiciously looks like Sora, and also got a tear in his rear by him.
