V is a character from Devil May Cry 5.
Bio[edit | edit source]
When Vergil, born to a human mother and a demonic father, finally was returned to his original nature after having unwillingly served the devil prince Mundus in the form of Nelo Angelo, he felt no need to reflect on the question whether his insatiable hunger for power was the primary reason which had gotten him into this mess in the first place. Still driven by his desire to defeat his twin brother Dante, he stabbed himself with his sword Yamamoto to seperate his human side from his demonic one.
Through this act, Vergil's humanity took the shape of V, and the latter was forced to watch as the demonic part of his progenitor turned into the horrifying Urizen. Well-intent to save the world by stopping his worse half from wrecking it, the fact that humanity was not exactly Vergil's strongest point means V is physically weak and has to rely on a cane in order to walk. On the plus side, V can command up to three demons to do most of his fighting for him; the most prominent specimen being Griffon.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Season 2[edit | edit source]
V made his debut in 8chanmania LV where he went up against John Blyth Barrymore. He was supposed to have his minion Nightmare fight in his place, but due to a fuck up on TNA's part, V himself fought the first round instead. He managed to defeat the Pipe Man through pure luck, but sadly lost in the next round after the Dasterdly Mr. Bones knocked out the switched-in Nightmare.
His next appearance was in 8chanmania LVI where he defeated Urizen, and /texas/-chan, but was soon defeated by Charles Barkley
He will join 8chanmania again in 8chanmania LVII but instead of having Nightmare fight for him, Griffon will be fighting inside of the ring. Or was supposed to be fighting, at any rate, until Alma Wade threw it out of the preliminaries.
The cripple poet tried it again for 8chanmania LIX. Although defeating both Raidou Kuzunoha XIV and Johnny Maximum, he still had his rhymes stolen by Phantom R.
Season 3[edit | edit source]
Perhaps having learned that relying on others always ended up to his detriment, V tried to do his own fighting in 8chanmania LXXVIII. The Beheaded Kamikaze proceeded to wipe the floor with him.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- If V manages to win any mania, Vergil will take his place in the season finale, and V can no longer participate in any further manias. however if Vergil wins, V can still participate in Manias. However if Urizen were to win a mania, only he would be banned. V and Vergil are still fair game.
- V is an avid poet. He will frequently recite lines from the poems of William Blake, and carries a book of them with him at all times.
