"Enough! My ship sails in the morning. I wonder what's for dinner?"
— The King

Biography[edit | edit source]

King Harkinian is the King of Hyrule during the events of Link: The Faces of Evil and Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon. He sends Link off to do his bidding in ridding Koridai of Ganon's presence, and later on tries to assist Duke Onkled hold off Ganon's invasion of Gamelon. Unfortunately for him, even with the Triforce of Courage, the traitor duke captures him, leaving his own daughter to rescue him.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

Season 1[edit | edit source]

Harkinian may or may not have debuted in 8chanmania VIII, but this is speculation.

His first properly recorded appearance was 8chanmania XIV, and while we do not know who he fought, he ultimately failed to win a belt.

Season 2[edit | edit source]

He had similar luck in 8chanmania:Season 2, being forced to tap out by fellow CDI character I.M. Meen during the opening round of 8chanmania XXXIX.

After CDI Link was sent to rescue him, he jobbed in 8chanmania LVII as well, quickly being sent out the door by a particularly meddlesome vassal.

Lastly, in a pre-tournament match for Season 2's Finale, he was forced to acknowledge that Darksol's name was not, in fact, Ganon. Turns out all that dinner doesn't help you escape in a cage match.

Season 3[edit | edit source]

The king's first appearance in the third season was during 8chanmania LXVIII, where he got his shit kicked in by Morrie Mozzarella in the preliminaries.

He would attend the tag-team style 8chanmania LXXVI with The Prince in tow, but sadly, the royal rumble was immediately brought to a halt by Aniki and a /b/rotha.

Harkinian's perhaps greatest chance came during 8chanmania LXXVIII. Setting off with a promising victory over the Mayor of SimCity, the king quickly went on to put down the peasant uprising on the part of the Spanish Villager, all but quarted Doi Aki in the quarter finals, and countered the time-traveling bullshit of Byleth with his own bullshit by throwing a chair into his arms. His ambitions for the belt were only snuffed out when the eldritch gap youkai Yukari Yakumo took him for a bit of training.

In 8chanmania XCV, he and his encourage of "Boy #1" (a confused Katamari Prince) and "Boy #2" (an equally confused and poorly disguised Dr Robotnik) first came to face Neo-Dio, whom they disposed off without further questioning. His next match against Guybrush Threepwood ran into much of a similar direction (even if he later lost a bet regarding Guybrush's ability to hold his breath for ten minutes), yet Madara Uchiha staunchly refused to let himself be touched by the monarch. The latter reacted by turning The Prince into an unwitting distraction sacrifice and making a run for it.

Though not directly participating in 8chanmania XCVIII, the good king still was summoned by Miles Edgeworth to imprison Phantom R and Lupin III in his dungeon without so much as a proper trial. This backfired rather badly, as the failure of Edgeworth and his partner Dick Gumshoe saw them sent to the dungeon, instead. He himself would only enter the ring in, and win an aftershow match against Yang Wen-li and Walter von Schönkopf; accompanied by his trusty aide Link (who, for the record, was not Dr. Robotnik in a poorly-fitting disguise).
