The Hex Maniac is a class of NPC trainers from the Pokemon series. First showing up as a replacement of sorts for the earlier Channeler trainer class, their updated artwork for Pokemon X and Y has given them a great deal of popularity with the fans.
Bio[edit | edit source]
As their name implies, Hex Maniacs rely on Pokemon which fully or at least partially belong to the Ghost or Psychic type. They themselves have a quite eerie look to them to begin with, and it is often implied these girls actually may be possessed by the spirits of the departed (much like their Channeler predecessors).
Hex Maniac's true claim to fame, however, came about from the spontaneous notion that her voluminous dress hides a body of equally voluminous (and shapely) proportions. That she's technically supposed to be a young girl hence has not stopped assorted artists from drawing her as a supremely thicc specimen who's a maniac about things entirely different from, but still rhyming with 'Hex'.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Season 1[edit | edit source]
As with most fighters that debuted in the first season of 8chanmania, lacking documentation means there's not way to be absolutely sure when and where she first debuted.
Her first recorded appearance was in 8chanmania XXV. There, she put Faust the Doctor through a lengthy examination; only to get honked by Chen in the next round.
The Hex Maniac unsurprisingly was promptly nominated for the porn-themed 8chanmania XXX. Her first fight against Serana showed it was not purely scientific interest that led to her unhealthy attraction towards the vampire, but once again, lacking documentation means the only thing we know for sure is that she did not win a belt afterwards.
Season 3[edit | edit source]
Having been absent for an entire season, Hex Maniac's return for 8chanmania XCVI was purely through chance - she was pulled in as a replacement for Chie Satonaka after no-one could be arsed to make an edit for her. At any rate, she creeped everyone out by actually finding the jokes of Lala funny (as well as kicking her out of the prelims), and the ramen of Min Min did not sway her. Alas, Hex Maniac is but a girl, so seeing her go up against Abby Anderson came with entirely predictable results.
Her stint in 8chanmania XCVII was exceedingly brief, as she got spooked by Teagan Almace.
Presumably having divined that it would be her last chance to belt, Hex Maniac formed a tag team with the equally well-equipped Big Tiddy Tau and entered 8chanmania XCVIII. She was thrilled to fight the ghost Clyde and the fairy Kyu in the first round, and, after supplying her teammate with milk of entirely unspecified origins, pulled of a second victory against Punished /v/) and the /b/rotha. Unfortunately, all that weight she was carrying around must have tired her, for she and the Tau were soundly beaten by Gintoki Sakata and Dunpan during the quarter-finals.
