Nanami is a NPC and party member from Suikoden 2. She also appears in the spin-off titles Genso Suikogauden 1 and 2.
Bio[edit | edit source]
Nanami is the adopted sister of Riou, the game's protagonist. She is somewhat tomboyish and general serves as the older sister to her "little brother". When Riou picked up his post as the leader of the New State Army, Nanami repeatedly tried to talk him into ending his military career - partially because she was worried about his safety, partially because she was tired of all the fighting, and partially because she did not wish to fight her former friend Jowy Atreides. Depending on the player's actions, she may or may not get killed during the siege of Rockaxe.
In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]
Season 2[edit | edit source]
Nanami debuted in 8chanmania XLVI. She fought and immediately lost against R-23. Following her defeat, the Replica soldier initially took her as a hostage, but she quickly turned out to be an invaluable ally and friend as R-23 struggled to cope with his newly-found free will - something utterly alien to the clone warrior. She continued to accompany him until R-23 defeated Captain Falcon and subsequently became Captain Falcon R.
Season 3[edit | edit source]
With R-23 having mysteriously disappeared, Nanami went on to search for him in 8chanmania LXXVII. Having been trained in CQC by the combine, she managed to defeat Johnny Sasaki (although the latter technically was more defeated by his bowels). Her quest was then cut short when she had the displeasure of meeting Bryan Fury.
Her third chance in 8chanmania XCVI was cut short when she ran into and subsequently tapped out against Kasumi.
8chanmania C[edit | edit source]
After the brainwashed R-23 tried to kill Point Man on behalf of Paxton Fettel and received a very motherly beating from Alma Wade in the process, Nanami found the unconscious R-23 and tried to restore his free will once more. This was easier said than done - the Replica initially attacked her; forcing her to "beat the stupid out of him". As even that did not suffice, Nanami subsequently brought R-23 to Groose in order to rekindle his heroism, and also allowed Kurt Wylde to take R-23 for a race. It goes beyond saying she was overjoyed when the Replica remembered who he was (or rather, what he had become).
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Nanami is infamous for her absolutely horrendous cooking skills.
