Lore[edit | edit source]

Following a series of minor and major accidents (including Earth being exterminatus'd in 8chanmania XCIII, and the Slaaneshi invasion in 8chanmania XCVI, Default-chan took drastic steps and effectively kicked out both Violet and Lil' Vi from the mania; having "deduced" that all the chaos only resulted because their powerful commentary and screen overlay functions made it possible in the first place. What she wanted was a mania like in the "good old days", without dialogue, fancy special effects, or much of anything except the Vanilla FirePro World Wrestling.

This went well enough for the first two matches, even if the regular old fighting soon bored Deffy to the point that she slowly re-enabled dialogue, custom entry themes, and other modding elements. The real problem arose when it became apparent that disabling all of the aforementioned mods had given a drastic boost to the FPWW vanilla wrestlers under Mr. Cobra, who were now trying to take over the mania.

Although their first attempt to test the waters by employing in Bobby Bobby against Baba failed miserable, this did not prevent Mr. Cobra from sending out Dag Boomer and Tai Fugo against Default-chan herself. The latter probably would have been doomed if John "Newface" Smith wouldn't have turned out to be a babyface as well. Or was doomed anyway, because Smith got pinned by Boomer. Fortunately, it appeared the FPWW crew was entirely content with this victory and wanted nothing more than to "assert dominance".

This turned out to be a lie when Teagan, having only just won her second belt, promptly found herself in a four-way free-for-all between herself, Mr. Viper, Solid Snake (who was pissed off because the Colonel had given her the alias of "White Snake", and John Smith. A healthy dose of fighting later, John was sent packing, Solid Snake turned out to be Liquid Snake as he fled, and Mr. Cobra tapped out against Teagan. The rebellious FPWW subsequently was punished by the full force of the restarted Violet program - namely by being blown away by a giant Dunpan.

But just as things were looking like a happy end, it became apparent that moving Violet back to full power this quickly might not have been the wisest decision: Villains from previous manias, ranging from Robbie Rotten to Albert Wesker to Bowser to Vile to Spontaneous Bootay amassed on-screen and stated their intention to make the mania theirs. A slightly embarassed Violet defused the situation by quickly playing the ending roll.
